Hydroseeding mulch
Wood-Lok 100 hydroseeding mulch is made from fresh-cut pine fibre and poplar wood chips. It is manufactured by a fiberization process that involves high temperatures and steam, after which it is dyed, dried and packaged. The green colour of the blend is a visual aid to facilitate application of an even layer of mulch.
Function
When application is complete, the fibres of the hydroseeding mulch twist and lock together as they cure. They thus form a protective matrix that helps to hold the seed in place, providing an excellent environment for germination and controlling erosion.
